We are delighted to welcome award-winning wildlife photographer, author, and autism advocate:
Alfie Bowen

to present the
2026 Terry Arnold Memorial Lecture
Join us for this inspiring evening exploring creativity, perspective, and autism awareness.

Alfie’s photography captures the beauty and wonder of the natural world, offering a unique perspective shaped by his experiences as an autistic individual. His work and story inspire us to see the world differently and appreciate the strengths and talents that come with neurodiversity.

Diagnosed with autism, Alfie faced challenges in school and social situations but found connection and inspiration through animals and photography. Today, he says: “After many years of social exclusion as a result of my autism, I have finally found my calling. I am a dreamer, and I am living my dream.”

Alfie’s journey highlights the creativity, resilience, and unique perspectives that autistic people bring to the world. This event is a chance to celebrate neurodiversity, be inspired by his story, and gain a deeper understanding of the autistic experience.
